Notes:
After a month of touring North America, Fenne Lily stopped in Seattle for their second to last show of the tour. Proof of vaccination and face coverings were required due to COVID-19. Doors were at 19:30. The show was a triple feature. Brooklyn based Pom Pom Squad opened the evening. Fenne Lily took the stage at 20:40. Illuminati Hotties followed.
Lily released a series of singles just as the world entered lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The topical single Hypochondriac quickly became an anthem for me early on in the pandemic. Following the singles Lily released the album, BREACH, later that year. This is the first time Lily has toured North America since that release.
Lily played an unreleased song titled, Superglued. Track 11 I am not familiar with. Maybe this is also an unreleased song.
The live rendition of Laundry and Jetlag caught me by surprise. The album version gently drifts off to violin accompaniment. Instead, the live rendition ends in an overdriven guitar outro. Unfortunately Lily’s guitar was accidentally unplugged.
