Notes:
Wolf Alice kicked off their tour supporting their most recent album, Blue Weekend, in Seattle WA. The show was sold out and the queue wrapped around the block. Doors were at 20:00 the show started at 21:00. Proof of vaccination and masks were required. Blossom opened. Wolf Alice took the stage just after 22:00.
The show was loud drowning out any chatter. The band was obviously ecstatic to be back on the road. During “Giant Peach”, Ellie forgot the lyrics to the first verse and the audience filled in. They recovered and finished the song.
This was my third show recording with this gear and thought I could record the full show with the remaining battery. Apparently not. The DR-40X ran out of battery partially through “Moaning Lisa”. I noticed partially through “Bros” and was able to record 12 more mins on the dregs. Unfortunately I was not able to capture “Last Man on Earth” nor the encore.
