Notes:
Redmond WA, the forth stop on Primus’ A Tribute to Kings Tour. The tour’s name is an homage to Rush’s album ‘A Farewell To Kings’, which was played in its entirety during the second set. The tour was originally scheduled for the Summer of 2020, but was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was my first show since March 2020 and my first attempt at recording a concert with this gear. Any feedback is welcome.
The show starts off a bit quiet. In the first mic break, Les Claypool comments on audience members requesting the volume to be turned up. Throughout the recording there is a bit of chatter from the group next to me.
During the encore the band was joined by Skerik on the saxophone. Skerik is a Seattle based saxophonist and an original member of Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade.
